qcjumping.jpg (33623 bytes)Quixall Crossett is a legend.  His tally of 103 races without a win has earned him an army of fans around the world.  Few horses past and present have attracted as much media coverage as Quixall.  Amongst his accolades, he was described in the Racing Post in 1998 as a 'seriously slow maiden in danger of becoming a folk hero'.  Prominent figures in racing have also warmed to Quixall, including Channel 4 Racing's John McCririck and the Jockey's Club's John Maxse.

However, connections have never lost faith with their hero, who is the flag bearer of Ted Caine's stable.  Ted also has in training the likes of Monaughty Man, Triona's Hope, Cregg Rose, Clavering, Swiss Comfort, Castle Stephen and Cloigeann Rua.  Now 18 years old, he is still in training and brings pleasure to thousands of racing fans with his admirable attitude to the sport.
